BOLFRACKS GARDEN, by Aberfeldy

Described as a plantsman's garden, Bolfracks sits on a wooded hillside with splendid views north over the Tay Valley and the mountains beyond. Wild areas of bluebells and old daffodils feature in the woodland garden. Visitors can also wander around a walled garden, rose garden and delightful herbaceous borders.

DIRNANEAN GARDEN, Enochdhu, by Blairgowrie

Dirnanean is a 1.5 hectare garden in the hill country of East Perthshire, at an altitude of 1000ft above sea level. Highlights include numerous interesting old trees, a walled garden, lovely herbaceous borders, a potager and peacocks. A restoration project is currently underway at Dirnanean - the garden is described by the owners as `Scotland's Heligan`.

THE SEER CENTRE, Enochdhu, by Blairgowrie

The Sustainable Ecological Earth Regeneration Centre garden project lies on an infertile upland site in Strathardle, subject to cold winds and severe winters. It is a charitable organisation committed to regeneration of soils with Rockdust to remineralise the soil and benefit the grower and the environment. The owners have designed and created a spectacular 4 acre demonstration garden of deep remineralised terraces, producing heavy crops of tasty fruit and vegetables and bright flowers.
