Beatrix Potter developed her interest in wildlife, drawing and painting during summers spent at Dalguise House by Dunkeld. The first story was the Tale of Peter Rabbit and 22 more followed. The Beatrix Potter Exhibition and Garden at the Birnam Institute are dedicated to her links with Perthshire.
